The art of leading

The art of leading
About headed companies have a responsibility to learn more about the reality of the individuals within them; their tastes, their motivations, their world and their work obviously. Failure to do so could have adverse consequences for the achievement of corporate goals.
How can we expect people to be interested in a company that does not care about them?
How can we think that we are adequately addressing the challenges of the times, if we have not learned as leads in the XXI century?
How can we expect our employees to behave better, if we have not entered their world in a meaningful way?
To guide you in the construction of these answers, I want to go to Erich Fromm who in his book "The Art of Love" in the sixth chapter, entitled The practice of love, wrote: The practice of any art has certain requirements, whether that art in question is carpentry, medicine or the art of love.
First, the practice of an art requires discipline. I will never do anything right if I do not do in a disciplined way; whatever you do just because I'm in the "right mood" may become a pleasant or amusing "hobby", but never get to be a master in this art ...
How about stop to ask you, I need some discipline to raise my expertise as a leader?  he might think that for modern man nothing is easier to learn discipline. Did not spend eight hours of highly disciplined manner in a job where reigns a strict routine? The truth, however, is that modern man is too undisciplined ... largely as a reaction against the routinization eight hours a day ... energy spent for purposes other ... by the pace of work, rebels and rebellion takes the form of a children's complacency to himself.
It is time to ask what I do, then what people in my company to invest your energy or feel that investing in the end of its own? Me myself am routinized?  addition, in the battle against authoritarianism, man has come to distrust any discipline and without discipline, life becomes chaotic ...
Now In my company reflects prevailing authoritarianism? How I can promote healthy in my organization, the amount of discipline to control the chaos and promote self-management, self-control, autonomy and self-motivation to ensure better results?  That concentration is a prerequisite for the mastery of an art needs no proof . Well everyone knows who has ever tried to learn a craft. However, in our culture, the concentration is even more rare that self-discipline. By contrast, our culture leads to a form of diffuse and decentralized life.
Question yourself Can I now raise my levels of concentration and my people?  The third factor is patience. Anyone who has ever tried to master an art knows that patience is needed ... If you opt for fast results, never learn art.
And now moving What would be the consequence of assuming my roles and face greater difficulties with patience? And if patience allows me to find clarity, even improve the speed? Another condition for learning any art is the supreme occupation by the domain of art. If art is not of paramount importance, the learner never dominate. It will remain in the best of cases, a good amateur, but never a teacher. ... That means that anyone who aspires to become a teacher must begin by practicing discipline, concentration and patience through all stages of their life.
If you want to be a master in the art of leading and begins to practice discipline, concentration and patience enough to be able to assertively influence, empower and promote a sustainable vision as well:
  • Influence: you hit positively relate how they work and who are linked to your company.
  • Empower: Empoderes people to raise their contributions and outcomes for organizational goal.
  • Sustainable Vision: allow people to experience the best in the future present.
